On Thursday, November 12, the Food Nannies will partner with Caris Sports Foundation for a night of wholesome fun in the kitchen! Attendees will learn how to make Kamut ancient grain crust pizza with proceeds benefitting Caris Sports Foundation. You may have seen Lizi on Arizona Daily Mix, but your opportunity has arrived to meet Liz and Lizi in person!
The Food Nanny, Liz Edmunds, began her journey in the early 70s when trying to liberate herself from that one question, “What’s for dinner, Mom?”. She wanted dinner to be easy, budget-friendly, and stress free, so she created themed dinner nights for each night of the week – building her family’s menus around each theme – which allowed her to plan as much as two weeks in advance! She published her first cookbook, “The Food Nanny Rescues Dinner”, in 2008 to take her “big idea” to the masses and hasn’t looked back.
Liz and her daughter Lizi teamed up for their latest cookbook, “For the Love of KAMUT,” which is available for order here. If you can’t wait for your copy, limited tickets are available for this special in-person event benefitting Caris Sports Foundation! Tickets are $250 and include a bag of KAMUT Flour and the “For the Love of KAMUT” cookbook. Please RSVP to mpotter@cathycardenas.com and we’ll see you in November!
We’re leveling the playing field.
